I don't like the idea of hunting the tiny 10 antelope.
This website is a library of information about Oribi and I strive to give holistic information about the antelope.
My vision with this website is to educate and encourage everyone to make decisions in the best interest of the specie.
I acknowledge that hunting has a role to play in conservation,
I still don't like the idea of hunting the tiny 10.
I do encourage shooting them!!! Shoot them with a camera and you can get special recognition in our wall of fame for people who shoot the tiny 10 with a camera.
However, I am totally against illegal hunting and poaching and stealing of these elegant antelope.
Please report illegal hunting!
Please don't do taxi hunting!
Please don't steal your neighbour's Oribi to sell them!
Please don't place Oribi in boma's on auctions!
Please only relocate or translocate Oribi if they are currently threatened where they occur.
I agree the translocation of oribi from doomed populations to viable areas has a significant role to play in oribi conservation.
